Our Mission,
We act to ensure that no child in the Forsyth County community goes hungry over the weekend.
Blessings in a Backpack is dedicated to providing meals to students enrolled in the Federal Free & Reduced Meal Program.
Vision,
No student should bear the weight of hunger.
We aim to create a compassionate community around us in that supports our young minds, equipping them to illuminate the future.
& Impact.
We spend a minimum of $50,000 per year towards the mission of child hunger relief. With the support of volunteers and compassionate donors, we have been able to provide:
- 165,000+ items (300 items per child) this year
- For 553 kids annually
- For 21 elementary/middle schools in Forsyth County

A $10 donation covers meals for 5 children.
